Art Trades

Ok, so, I saw this idea and thought it might be a good way to get me motivated for arts again.  See, I learned something about myself.  Unless I have a clear plan for one my characters or there's someone waiting on something, I tend to slack on the art front because I get so many ideas and just feel swamped.  I also really need to work on doing ink lines by hand and finding a pen that I think works well with it.  So to kill two birds with one stone, I'm going to offer art trades!  The catch is, you'll need to finish yours first.

RULES
1: Look at the list below and pick a character you'd like to draw, and get crackin!  It can be any of the characters there, or if I've missed one of mine that you like a lot, that's fine too.  Basicly, any in this folder are fair game.

2: Draw that character in your favorite medium.  Which means hand-drawn, CG, detailed sketch, pixel, etc.  Hell, if you wanted to a do a sculpture I will praise you forever and find the money to have it shipped to me.  XD  However, no doll makers or traces!  Bases are ok, and of course pose refereneces are as well, but I want to see what YOU can do, not what you can edit.

3. Post a comment or send me a note with your completed piece so I can add it to my favorites and drool over it.  Also include one of your characters you want me to draw.   Pictures are best for references, but if you have a very detailed description, that's fine too.

4. In return, you will get a hand-drawn, inked and colored image!  Well, a scanned one. (though, if you want to pay shipping, I will ship it to you)  Just be aware that I don't have full range of Copics yet, espically of blues, but I will get as close as I can.  If you prefer one of my CG coloring jobs, I'm more than happy to do so, just make sure you tell me.

5. Be aware that I may be a bit slow since I'm having to retrain my brain at this.  But I WILL finish your artwork as soon as I can!

6. I may add to this list, as I do have a couple more characters I'd LOVE to see artwork for, but don't really have a written or drawn reference yet.  ><

7. This will be ongoing until I get to a point where I have a lot to catch up on.  In which case, it'll be put on hold, but I don't plan on ending this in the near future.   I may also change the art styles or just open it up to whatever style I feel best suits, but for now, I'm focusing on hand drawn.

Brooklynn - Barbarian, two-weapon fighter, young and impulsive.  Though, she has mostly learned her lesson about NOT rushing so far ahead of the group they can't back her up! XD
- NOTE: She has a new breastplate and a new weapon, but I have not had time to redraw it.  If you want to draw her in her new armor, I can work up a description and quick sketch for reference.  ^_^

Ashnira - Rogue/paladin.  Paladin of Bahamut, actually.  Fairly laid-back, good at tactics, patient, but with a slightly off-beat sense of humor.  Protective of her adoptive sister, whom she's playing bodyguard for.


Farel - My first D&D character!  Rogue, loves shiney things, has no issues with back-stabbing, hates the Cult of the Elder Elemental Eye with a passion.  Unfortunatly, she died. But, she may be coming back.
